Not all Mānuka are the same this becomes very obvious in its flavour profile. Its like mānuka oil and honey, you can get all different grades, this is the same with Mānuka tea leaf.   

 

 Mānuka native to New Zealand 

Mānuka = Leptospermum Scoparium Mānuka is native to New Zealand, my Maori ancestors have been using the Mānuka tree for healing for 100s of years.

Aroma = high sweet notes with woodsy and earthy undertones.  Our leaf is known for its sweeter then normal flavours.  This is believed to be caused by our location, altitude and soil conditions and chemo type.

Toxicity = No known toxicity on Mānuka, however we suggested to consult your doctor before consuming while pregnant
